There are several artists who perform under the name Clarissa: 1. Clarissa Müller is a Brazilian singer, actress, model and blogger, also known as Clapivara. Born in 1996, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Clarissa began her acting career and had her first prominent role in the musical film Ana e Vitória (2018), starring Cecília and then acting in Me Sinto Bem Com Você (2021), an Amazon original film. She released her first self-titled EP Clarissa which features five main tracks, the first single being Bem Me Quer, Mal Me Quer. Clarissa is responsible for writing all the compositions present in the tracks, mostly in the popular bedroom pop genre with introspective songs accompanied by beats and electronic sounds, bringing a sound little known on the national scene and approaching mostly love in different ways and concepts. 2. CLARISSA is a five-member rock band originally from Baltimore, Maryland. Clarissa Campbell (lead singer songwriter) and Mike Berger (guitarist and songwriter) came together in 1999 and formed a cover band. Originally called Yellow #5, they toured around the upper US states from 1999-2001. After touring, Clarissa and Mike turned their attention to creating more original music. Their debut album Free to Be was released in 2001. In October 2004 they released a second album called CLARISSA Live!. 3. Clarissa is a shoegaze, indie rock band from the USA. They released one album in 1996, entiteld Silver and another in 1997; Blood & Commons. The band was formed by 3 original members of the group Snatches of Pink. 4. Annette Clarissa Lundell (AKA Clarissa) (born 9 October, 1990) is a singer, songwriter and dancer from Finland. Clarissa studied singing, dancing and theatre in Stockholm, Sweden and that's where she began writing her own songs, but moved back to Finland once her studies were done.
