RE:BORN(TYPE-B)



ClearVeil was a Japanese visual kei band that was active from 2007 to 2010. The band formed under the Sequence Records label and later joined UNDER CODE PRODUCTION. ClearVeil's lineup consisted of vocalist Saki (尖), guitarists Nozomi (希) and Ryuuto (りゅうと), bassist Hisayoshi, and drummer Naruka (成華). Their music was a blend of melodic and aggressive elements, often drawing comparisons to Clorcian (クロルシアン), a band that Saki and Nozomi had previously been in. Their first appearance was the song A square room-最後の言葉- that was featured on the omnibus released titled Deviant's Struggle in January 2007. Shortly after in March, they held their first live performance at Nagoya HOLIDAY NAGOYA, where they released the track Voice. Their debut mini-album, ClearVeil, was released in October 2007. The first day of 2008, ClearVeil transitioned from Sequence Records to UNDER CODE PRODUCTION. That year, they released several singles, including the dropping sky in March, 信者ニ捧グ謳 in April, lapis ～青の憂鬱～ in May, and 灰色ノ一片 in September. Their first full-length album, RE:BORN, was released in March 2009, followed by the single Awake in August. During this period, the band embarked on a one-man tour across Japan. In 2010, ClearVeil performed a notable twoman show with ALSDEAD at Nagoya MUSIC FARM in March. Their final single, White Satin, was released in April 2010. Despite their growing popularity, ClearVeil announced their disbandment following their one-man performance at Nagoya Electric Lady Land on July 4, 2010. Their final album, Anthology, was released in June, just before their disbandment. Following the disbandment, Saki retired from music and began working as a cameraman. Nozomi is a vocalist & guitarist for Taiyou no Namida (太陽ノ涙) and a guitarist for ORCALADE (currently on hiatus). Ryuuto has a solo project called PINOCCHIO (ピノキオ), HISAYOSHI participates in the session band THE MANAGEMENTS, bassist in Fuel Pumps and support in ORCALADE. Naruka participates as a drummer in idol groups and is a member of RHEDORIC (also on hiatus). ClearVeil briefly reunited for a one-day revival on December 31, 2010, at the UNDER CODE PRODUCTION-sponsored New Year countdown event. Another revival took place on March 28, 2021, at HOLIDAY NEXT NAGOYA, marking a moment of nostalgia for fans.
