Colonial's original inception was that of a three piece european screamo worship dayton, ohio band during the winter of 2009. After the departure of their bassist, they continued on to play shows through out the summer of 2009 before disbanding. That summer they recorded a three song demo in dayton at the local level head studios. It was made available as a limited run self-produced cd that is now long gone. Colonial was a Dayton, Ohio screamo band that existed in the spring and summer of 2009. Originally consisting of three members Matt Ewald, Dan Santoli, and Tom Kenneally, it became a two piece after the departure of their bassist.
