Coscradh (Irish for massacre or triumph in slaughter) is a Dublin, Ireland-based black/death metal band formed in 2015. They are known for a savage, atmospheric, and historically rooted sound that blends raw black metal aggression, death metal heaviness, war metal influences, and occasional Celtic/Gaelic atmospheric touches. The band draws heavily from Irish history, mythology, violence, death, and ancient events, often incorporating Gaelic language in lyrics and titles. Their music is characterized by long, epic track lengths (frequently 7–10+ minutes), glacial/doomy passages, dissonant riffs, blasting sections, and a sense of ritualistic brutality.
