Custard are an Australian alternative rock band formed in Brisbane in 1989. The group consists of David McCormack (vocals, guitar), Paul Medew (bass), Matthew Strong (guitar), and Glenn Thompson (drums). The band released several studio albums throughout the 1990s, including Wahooti Fandango (1994), Wisenheimer (1995), and We Have the Technology (1997). Their 1999 single Girls Like That (Don't Go For Guys Like Us) became one of their most recognized tracks. Custard disbanded in 1999 but reunited in 2009. Since reforming, they have released new albums, including Come Back, All Is Forgiven (2015), The Common Touch (2017), Respect All Lifeforms (2020), and Suburban Curtains (2024). There is also another band named Custard, a German power metal group founded in 1987. They have released seven full-length albums, with the most recent one in 2021. Read more on Last.fm.
