D.R.I.S.T is a one-female project led by Irene P.S., initially formed in 2009 while located in Athens, Greece. The main drive of this project is the inner need of the artist to express her unique skills to produce music as obtained by her studies in the Greek private college I.E.K. OMIROS (Aegean college). With personal preference in dark sounds and all kinds of experimental underground genres, D.R.I.S.T advocates a complex mix of IDM, experimental, dark ambient, aleatoric and stochastic music trying to add her own stigma in the scene.The artist has released her first E.P. with the title Ward 67. All work required for the project is entirely based on the artists personal efforts. Melodies, music production, lyrics and concept are combined with her time and knowledge to realize her goal: to make people think, question and pursue their desires in a dark trip of agony and anxiety.
