Re:Born Special Edition

DXMON (다이몬) is a boy group under H Music Entertainment (formely NV / SSQ Entertainment.) On December 8, 2023, NV Entertainment announced that they would debut a new six-member boy group named Dxmon in January 2024. The group consists of five members; Minjae, Seita, Hee, TK and Rex (former member Jo left the group on September 29, 2024). Their name is derived from the Greek word Daimon, meaning god. The name reflects their determination to achieve their own destiny. They released a pre-debut single album, ‘Burn Up‘ on January 1, 2024. Their debut mini album is titled “Hyperspace” and includes the title track Spark.” DXMON made a strong comeback with their second single album titled Youth Never Die on October 21, 2024, with the title track being “Zip Zip Zip,” along with a b-side named “Heart Balloon.” DXMON's music is classified as K-pop (genre wise), however they also heavily reference hip hop, trap, and other inspired genres that come from the western industry. Some examples include modern dream pop (included in Heart Balloon), EDM (featured in Very), UK garage (featured in Girls, Love boys, Love girls), and more. With a pronounced punk influence in their concept photographs, their pre-debut to debut concept had a strong alternative image. Read more on Last.fm.
