Money for Nothing is the debut single released by Swedish singer Darin on January 26, 2005. The song is taken from his debut commercial album, “The Anthem”. It was written by Robin “Robyn” Carlsson, Remee, Johan Ekhé and Ulf Lindström, and produced by the record producing and songwriting team, Ghost. Read more on Last.fm.

Darin (born Darin Zanyar, June 2, 1987 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish pop singer and songwriter of Kurdish descent and one of Sweden's best-selling artists, with numerous chart topping songs and music albums. After participating in Idol 2004, Darin released his debut album The Anthem having reached second place in the competition and becoming number one in the hearts of many girls and boys. The album quickly reached the tops of the charts, along with his debut single Money for nothing. Darin has released 9 albums, (three independent), 8 of which have debuted at number 1 on the Swedish Album charts. He has 12 top 10 singles on the Swedish singles chart, 3 reaching number 1. He is currently the third most successful artist to come from the television show Swedish Idol. On September 15 2023 he dropped his third swedish album En Annan Jag. In the summer of 2020, Darin came out as gay in an Instagram post after keeping it a secret for years. He was met with great support from Swedish celebrities. Read more on Last.fm.
