There are two projects called DeSade: 1) Paraphrased from the band's myspace page: DeSade is a deathrock band from the United States formed in 1998, and has been signed to Orphanage Records. The lineup consists of: Bethany M. Asylum (Vocals), Johnny Black (Guitar), Gabriel (Guitar), J. Grimm (Bass), and Sean Fay (Drums). DeSade opened for a number of bands including Disturbed, The Electric Hellfire Club, Genitorturers, and Clan of Xymox. Following the release of Post Mortem the band changed its name to The Cursed, then disbanded temporarily in early 2005, before deciding to reform once again as DeSade at the end of 2005.
