There are various artists with the name 'Deepflow' 1) Deepflow (Ryu Sang Goo) is a korean MC and producer. He's a member and CEO of Vismajor Crew . 2) deepflow is dj/producer jerry de steur and was born in jakarta, indonesia in 1977. he created his first track in 1990 and has made countless of tracks varying in all kinds of styles ever since. his style can best be described as broad and versatile as he is always changing with time and taking influences from all kinds of music. his first contact with turntabelism was in 1993 when his best mate was spinning hiphop and house for a local radio station in jakarta. at that time he made his first mix tapes which were mainly hiphop based. in 1994 he heard his first jungle tracks on a tape a friend brought with him from europe and he showed immediate interest in the style. in 1997 he was active in the internet mod scene where he produced variouse styles of dance, ambient and experimental tracks for BMP and other groups. this was also the year when producing became more of a habit then just a hobby. in 1998 he released his first 12 for an atlanta based american label in the breakbeat style. that year he specialized his production skills into drum 'n bass, producing all kinds from intelligent to the techy and rolling. it wasn't untill 1999 that he bought his own decks, mainly to support his producing talents, and he has been spinning on various locations ever since. deepflow is currently signed on for amsterdam based purified audio where he produces the more soulfull and intelligent side of the genre. he is also part of scientific, a dj/producer collective which launched in 2001 and is currently resident at the purified partys in aalsmeer. his tracks have been played around the globe and have gotten recommendations on various magazines, playlists and websites.
