Big Tunes Back 2 The 90s
There are at least four artists called Dream. 1) Dream were an American pop girl group, which was active in 1998–2003 and again in 2015–2016. Their best selling-single, the 2000 single, He Loves U Not, was a success, reaching the top twenty in the Netherlands, the United States, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom and Norway. They are also known for the singles This Is Me and its respective remix version alongside their 2003 single, Crazy, from the scrapped sophomore album, Reality. Dream consisted of members Holly Blake Arnstein, Diana Ortiz, Melissa Schuman, Ashley Poole and Kasey Sheridan who replaced Melissa Schuman in 2002 until their reunion in 2015 where Melissa Schuman returned to the group. However in 2016, Ashley Poole stated that Dream has once again disbanded. 2) Dream (ドリーム Dorīmu) were a Japanese pop girl group signed to the Avex Trax label since 2000 and Rhythm Zone since 2009. The group was formed as a result of a 1999 talent contest called Avex Dream 2000, and though the group was originally a three-piece group consisting of Mai Matsumuro, Kana Tachibana and Yu Hasebe, the group has undergone many changes since its debut in 2000, and none of the original trio remained until the disbandment. The original trio sold over 950,700 records, and in total the group has sold over 1,100,000 records over the span of 10 years. They disbanded in 2017. 3) DREAM, also known as DREAMINSLOW, is an electro and techno producer and DJ hailing from Miami, Florida. He has also been seen modeling for luxury brands, such as Off-White. 4) Dream is a YouTuber, Twitch Streamer, and Speedrunner that gained popularity in 2019 due to his Minecraft Manhunt YouTube series. Dream's music career began in 2021 after releasing Roadtrip, Mask, and Change My Clothes in collaboration with American singer-songwriter Alec Benjamin. In 2023 he released his first EP to whoever wants to hear. In may of 2025 he released a revamped version of his first song Roadtrip together with PmBata, this time called Roadtrip - Dream's Version.
