This song’s chorus was first teased on EASHA’s TikTok (@eashamusic) on December 15, 2020. It was later revealed in another TikTok that it was inspired by a comment “you’re the type of girl people write songs about” TikTok user @reese_li made on a video by @evangelinefisk on November 12, 2020.
