There is more than one band called Epona. 1. Epona - English folk band during 90s featuring Nancy Kerr. Great live but only released one CD. At one time used 2 dulcimers! 2. Epona - The year was 2006 it was March 1st, Notre Dame battle of the bands. The Dave Featherstone Experience, a band created in 5 minutes played in front of a full venue. The first glimpse of Epona, and if you ask anyone who witnessed it, they'd never ever want to see us again. But... Essentially the band started when Devin quit Good, Hes Dead, Dan quit Secret Someone, and we're still not sure where Patt came from. Devin was pursuing a singing career and Dan just wanted a band, and well...Patt just needed something to do between clan matches. The 3 first tried out playing with two members of the band Armada; Mike and Luc, but it wasnt a solid band because Mike and Luc were preoccupied with their current band. After endless eternities of searching Devin, Patt, and Dan teamed up with a familiar friend Matthew Carmichael, and newly recruited Glenn Boulding...one beast of a man. Many practices have been held, and more to come hopefully some music will follow said practices. Oct. 20 - Stand of Somaria is born to its 5 proud parents. Now that Epona's demo is done, they will start playing as many shows as possible, hopefully all of you can make it to a majority of those shows.
