Hailing from the cold American Midwest, Exclipsect settled into San Francisco in late the 90’s and began using field recordings, samplers, hardware and software to explore a hybrid of raw industrial & experimental techno. He has performed and released music through respected labels, gaining international respect among the underground electronic music scene. Since Exclipsect's last release for Hive Records, Symbiosis, a new project has surfaced called Guise. His debut as Guise titled Capillary is be released by Singularity Recordings. The raw aesthetic of experimentation continues to come through in his sound. It is a fresh perspective in modern dark energy.
