FJØRT were formed in early 2012 in the dark, somewhat damp music bunker near Aachen; as an outlet for everything that is too much and too little in one that has to go. The meeting of glacial post-rock with scalding lyrics quickly merges into music that invites you to sink in. The group's first output, Demontage, was released in November 2012 via Through Love Records. In addition, the trio plays almost a hundred concerts, mostly in self-managed rooms, organized by local concert groups. With the first album D'accord (2014) the excessively loud is directed, but not tamed. The band continues to play, just not by itself and thus becomes a valued guest, no matter where and which person you ask. Two years later, the label changed from This Charming Man Records to the broom closet of the Grand Hotel van Cleef, where the album Kontakt was released in January 2016. Although maximally edgy in sound and word, more and more visitors appear at FJØRT concerts. The album Couleur followed at the end of 2017 and once again put the crooked crown on everything. A day.
