FemalePenis was a grindcore/goregrind, now a crabcore/pop/deathcore hailing from Tampere, Finland. They also take influences from genres like black metal, goregrind, grindcore, math metal, trip-hop, nu-metal and metalcore. They were formed in the summer of 2008. Up to now they have released 5 albums, 1 EP and 1 mini CD, newest one being called Mihail, thats is avaible for free from here The first 3 albums had miscellaneous music styles, ranging from pornogrind to even rap. On the fourth album No bush for Bush the band moved on to a complete pornogrind sound. After over a years break, the new album Mihail, contains mostly deathcore influences. FemalePenis has marked their main influences as Anal Nosorog and Cock and Ball Torture and more recently Attack Attack!. Recording the first albums were hard times to the band because of the bad sound quality Pappila Recordings could offer them and because all members played all instruments.. After the release the theyr official debut, they signed on to Apexxx Records. Grass in My Anal was mostly made only by Anthony and Aapo. On Deadcock Henkka and Oskari performed vocals to. A while after the release of Deadcock Henkka quit the band, because he would never get girls by being in a band called FemalePenis. The band gathered together and gave a moment to think what to do with the band. The band decided to change to a complete pornogrind sound and decide who will play what instrument and stick with that. In November of 2008, they went to the studio the last time in 2008, to record their new different album, what was named No bush for Bush. Aapo and Anthony did the whole album by themselves again. They tuned the bass guitar to the mystic 0-tune. This would help Oskari get a good sound live. Even tough Henkka left the band, No bush for Bush contains some gaycore influences from the old albums. After releasing No bush for bush Henkka was replaced with Justus Svennsson. after the release of No Bush for Bush the band went on a creative break that lasted about year. in early 2010 they announced that they will continue their career and in march 2010 they released a new album entitled Mihail. Femalepenis is currently signed by finnish label called Apexxx records.
