There are at least two artists with the name Foolstop. 1. A German independent artist (active since 2006 to present) 2. A Greek indie group (active since 2009 to present) 1. Originally planned as a folk-project Foolstop became a mixture of acoustic, blues and indie-rock music with some kind of singer/songwriter attitude. Creative mind of Foolstop is Sebastian Lambeck who is supported by various musicians. Until 2013 Foolstop released one album called soundcheck, which can be downloaded only on their website. 2. Foolstop is the result of the cooperation between Iacovos and George, towards an alternative musical path, combining various elements into the core of Rock music. The duo met in their student years, when they were both in the same class studying Audio Engineering. Both of them felt the need for musical creation and sound experimentation, sharing their common goal of good sound and good music. After spending endless hours to achieve the desired result for today’s music standards they finally decided that the next step was to have their own creativity hangout, thus the journey towards building an actual recording studio began. After two long years of building their own Recording Studio, they finally started to record and produce various musical pieces, influenced by the sonic surroundings of today’s music and their more deep musical influences by the older Rock and Pop Legends. Although there have been various ups and downs to achieve their goals, the journey has just began and although the times we live in are peculiar, they try to make & project their own musical creations the best they can.
