“I Want to Know What Love Is” is an overwrought power ballad by British-American rock group Foreigner. It was the lead single off Agent Provocateur and is their biggest hit to date. The song reached #1 in both the UK and the US, and continued to be been a fixture on the charts nearly two decades after its release. The song landed in the top 25 on the Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Recurrents chart in 2000, 2001 & 2002.
