Germanas Daškevičius – Gamka (born 12th April 1999 in Kaunas), a well-known creator and performer of the young generation in the world of Lithuanian music. On June 15th, he took a new step in his musical career by releasing the first solo album “Šaltos bangos”, which was inspired by the 80s music style and represents the reborn “cold wave” music genre. The album was successfully performed during live shows in Vilnius, Kaunas, Nida and several major music festivals in Lithuania such as “Devilstone”, “Granatos live”, “Galapagai” and “Mėnuo Juodaragis”. The debut track “Ne toks” shows a promising journey of Gamka’s music career, since it managed to compete for the top places for a few weeks in Spotify’s playlist “Lithuania Viral 50”. Shortly after succesful burst, on April 17th he released a second album Uraganas, the songs of which even more than the last one explore the melodies and sounds of cold post-rock and synthwave style, possibly influenced by personal experiences, despairs and infidelities, new beginnings.
