Garbí was formed in Valencia in 2019 by four friends with the intention of making the music they love, free from stylistic constraints but full of feeling. Always self-producing in their own studio under a DIY philosophy, their sound draws from 90s alternative rock and emo, but also incorporates elements of shoegaze, post-rock, post-hardcore, and Japanese rock. After the EP 'bisiesto' (2020) and the LP '…y todas las cosas que quieres ser' (2021), the band has solidified a style that moves between melancholy and light, always open to experimentation. Their intense and intimate live performances have taken them to cities such as Valencia, Madrid, Barcelona, ​​and Santander. In 2023, they joined Carcosa Records and released the EP 'un abrazo así' (A Hug Like This), followed in 2024 by their second LP, 'a este lado del telón' (On This Side of the Curtain), where they returned to a darker and more visceral sound. By the end of 2025, they will present their third and most ambitious LP to date: a work where nostalgia and experimentation coexist, featuring collaborations, string arrangements, and expansive compositions that reaffirm Garbí as one of the most distinctive acts in the Valencian underground.
