Gemie refers to multiple artists. [1] (Japanese artist) R!N／Gemie is a singer-songwriter from Matsuyama, Aichi Prefecture. Half-Japanese, half-Filipino and fluent in 3 languages, her activity spans worldwide. As a composer, she has composed and written for for OH MY GIRL, ASCA, various pieces the VR game ALTDEUS, and whose talents span across multiple genres. Under the name Gemie her activities are primarily anime music (Attack on Titan, Mobile Suit Gundam NT, Promea, Kingdom), drama (television), and collaborating with cinematic composer Sawano Hiroyuki, singing in English, Japanese, and German. In 2021, she restarted her singer-songwriter career, dubbed the REVIVAL PROJECT, planning to release music with the entirety of her experience and connections cultivated in her career. As well as her career as a vocalist, she is also a voice instructor. [2] (Finnish artist) Finnish artist Gemie is highly topical with the release of his new album The Circus and The Monkey. Behind the alter ego of Gemie is the artist Jens Smedman, one of Finland´s most renowned singer/songwriters. Having made a successful career with his much appreciated song writing and performing in Finland, Gemie is now without a doubt a name to look out for.
