Hackle Down On Em (HDOE) also known as Hackledown, is an American recording artist hailing from San Jose, California. Citing Divine Council and Sickboyrari as influences, Hackle began making music in December 2020 under the alias Burlapper, solely releasing two songs— I See Burlap and Hunted Down—which he later took down. In a February 2022 interview with Masked Gorilla, he described the process of how he started making music: Nah, I always like, wanted to be like an artist and I fucking sucked every time I tried, like I sucked fucking ass, and then I linked up with {Sematary} and he just like hella put me on like to shit, and now I can finally make some like, good shit that I like. In February 2021, Hackle joined Sematary’s collective Haunted Mound after meeting each other through Instagram. Nearly a year after dropping the Burlapper pseudonym- in October 2021- he made his debut under Hackle as a feature on Sematary's track “REDWOODS.” In December 2021, Hackle made his solo debut single titled PETERBILT, which featured Sematary. In April 2022, he released DUMBO, featuring fellow Haunted Mound member Buckshot - the first single off his debut mixtape, GUNSMITH, which was released August 12, 2022. Read more on Last.fm.
