1) What Hoodlum brings to the game is something we havent seen since Outkast. They have the same charisma and love of hip-hop and its evident in not only in their lyrics,but their sound as well. they have a wide variety of music ranging from club bangers, to songs with concepts, stories, and speaking on societal ills in a true hip-hop musically talented fashioned. The group is made up of three individuals Legend in the Making (Legend), Doc Novel(D.O.C, Doctor) and K.I Too Deep (K.I) whom are all currently entering their final years of college and it shows in their music and market positiong. They all grew up in a small city called Rockford, Illinois, 90 miles from Chicago. They have been making music together since junior high and writing since the 5th grade.They are true students of hip-hop, soul, R&B, and rap. A lot of their influences ranges from AL Green and Marvin Gaye, to Biggie and Tupac, to Jay-z and J.Cole. Their music can only be explained as Hoodlum Sounds or the Sounds of Hoodlum. They are truly a breath of fresh air to hip hop and truly what the games been missing. Take listen and see for your self!!!
