Housebound started in 1998 as a live project. The band release their first demo in 1999, with the help of the dirty8 label the band members have just created. In 2000 Ludo (guitars), teams up with Julien (guitars), Jonathan (bass) , Paul (drums) and Zed (vocals) to make the band as it is today. Already then, the Strasbourg combo has a distinctive sound, as subtle as powerful, mixture of many influences brought together in a hardcore/metal frame. In constant evolution, they quickly get renown in France and abroad, especially due to their explosive live sets. Even the press praise the band's acquaintances with Tool or System of a Down, also Snot and Amen. Having now toured during the last 4 years, in France, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, in such places as the Laiterie , the Pezner, the A38 cargoship, and opening for bands like Suicidal Tendencies, Crazy Town, Lofofora, the band set off to record their first album during the 2005 summer. Produced by Zoltan Varga at the Bakery Studio, Budapest, Hungary, «On A Daily Basis...» will be released in January 2006.
