HuxP (Mitch Michelle Bentz) is an genderfluid American vocal synth cover artist and producer. Active with the VOCALOID4 engine since 2017, he began releasing covers under the HuxP name in 2023. Working mainly in J-POP, pop and rock, he releases music through his own label HuxP Music. A hallmark of his sound is using both Hatsune Miku and the rarely used Shiki Taigen voicebank, making him one of Shiki-ji's last active producers. His cover of 初音ミクの消失 hit 50,000 Spotify plays in late 2024 and earned him an official This Is HuxP playlist soon after. While most tracks stay faithful to the originals, you'll hear occasional remixed instrumentals, mainly on Vocarips and earlier duo work with his twin Safranek (aka HayBombYT) in their project LockedStep. He also collaborates in the producer collective DOCHIMERA alongside adipocere and VadaVadaV. On July 17th, 2025, HuxP's music was taken off of streaming for editorial discretion. HuxP has no control over what happened, as DistroKid's support was no help. Currently, HuxP is unsure if they will bring their music back to streaming afterwards. You can still support HuxP by listening to his covers on his YouTube channel or his Bandcamp. Read more on Last.fm.
