Step On Me



Hydrone- a simple water molecule composed of two essential elements and a singular entity with infinite purpose, necessary for all life. The musical entity, Hydrone, is also composed of two elements- the creative force of tattooist/fine artist/musician Brion Norwalk and multi-instrumentalist Mark Ditch. Born the son of a pianist and a vocalist, Brion Norwalk’s path to the musical world was pre-determined at an early age. After learning to play the piano and absorbing his father’s knowledge of vocal technique, he was able to apply the musical foundation he had built to the many other instruments that were investigated throughout his formative years. From childhood, Norwalk’s musical development has mirrored his evolution in the visual arts. Now professionally tattooing for over fifteen years and producing fine art for several more, he has found a way to meld these mediums with his musical pursuits by producing a sound that is conducive to the creative mindset. Joining Norwalk is his quest for musical enlightenment is songwriter/musician Mark Ditch. Also born into a musically talented family, Mark is one of three siblings who have created and played music together from childhood and beyond. While beginning with bass, his mastery of instrumentation has expanded over time to include keyboards and guitar. Though their musical paths have crossed several times in various bands and recording projects, Hydrone is the culmination of their combined talents- existing beyond the confines of any particular genre or style, but, rather, utilizing a combination of many. They have crafted a sound that is very earthly and, ultimately, very human. Hydrone have embarked on an expedition, with their music as their mode of travel, inviting others to join them in their further exploration into the artistry of sound. Read more on Last.fm.
