ICHOROUS was a harsh noise project formed in 2005 by A. Phelps. Various materials (CDs, CDrs, cassettes, vinyl) were released on labels such as RRR, Harshnoise, Nil By Mouth, Scarbox, Cipher Prods, Audiobot, and more. The project officially ended in 2011 with the live performance Accumulated Intensity at the University of Massachusetts. Since discontinuing Ichorous, A. has gone on to several solo and collaborative sound projects: Narcissus Technologies (vaporwave / progressive electronic) Idle Wounds (harsh noise / power electronics) Xanafalgue (minimal techno / industrial techno / post-industrial) Currently, five Ichorous works are available on the official Bandcamp for the project (run by A.), including two unreleased albums.
