Issa immigrated to France in 1984 and became a member of the Kurdish Institute of Paris. Through his musical work Issa met Europe and European music. In 1988, he was then a band member of the group Koma Zozan coma. His music style is characterized by the fact that he mixes Kurdish Folk music with flamenco and jazz, and produces a new synthesis.
