Jannes was born in a trailer park in Emmen, but he currently lives in Noordscheschut. He recorded his first single in 1999. It was called Ben jij bij me, but it did not become a great succes. After a while Jannes met the producer Martin Sterken. With who he recorded his first album, Bella Bianca. His second album did not reach a great success in the Netherlands. It was called Van Casablanca naar Napoli. Since this happened, Jannes has made several albums and produced numerous great hitsongs. He joined a Satanic Cult at the age of 17 and started to write Satan's name on basketballs, while Frans Duijts stood on watch. Singer is not the main job of Jannes.
