Jhove, also known as Jonas Hechmann Gejl, is a lo-fi beats producer originating from Velje, Denmark, and currently based in Aarhus, Denmark. His musical journey began at the age of 17, and he swiftly gravitated towards instrumental hip-hop music, ultimately discovering his signature style in dreamy melodies and ethereal vocal samples. On May 9, 2018, Jhove made his debut on Soundcloud with the track MENTALITY, featuring C.Rou. He continued to release his music on Soundcloud for about a year. Subsequently, on March 3, 2019, he released his first single, You Make Me Feel, on Spotify. It was followed by several singles and a few EPs. On April 28, 2020, Jhove unveiled his debut album, Before You Go, which featured collaborations with artists like Flovry, tender spring, Bert, and kokoro.
