There are several artists known as JINU. 1) 지누 (Jinu) aka Hitchhiker aka DJ JINU was a member and producer of the Korean band Rollercoaster. He debuted as a soloist in 1996 with the album JINU # JOKE. Afterwards he debuted with the band Rollercoaster together with Jo Wonsun and Lee Sangsoon. He has worked as a DJ and producer, writing for acts such as Uhm Jung Hwa, Brown Eyed Girls, Girls' Generation, f(x), Super Junior, Red Velvet, TVXQ and many SM artists in general. In 2014 he re-debuted solo as a DJ under the pseudonym Hitchhiker. 2) Kim Jin-woo (김진우; born September 26, 1991 in South Jeolla, South Korea), better known mononymously as Jinwoo or Jinu, is a South Korean singer, actor and member of South Korean boy group Winner, formed in 2013 by YGE through Mnet survival program WIN: Who Is Next. Kim made his solo debut on August 14 with single album Jinu's Heyday and lead single Call Anytime (또또또) featuring bandmate MINO after five years in the industry ahead of mandatory military enlistment the next year.
