Junshi is a 21 year old artist based in the UK. He has made music under many aliases, with different styles (plugg, cloud rap, emo rap, phonk, retro) on SoundCloud over the past few years. This is his latest project. Junshi started releasing music on SoundCloud in 2016, taking inspiration from ICYTWAT, Lofty305 and MexikoDro. He has been experimenting with different sounds for many years, including his current, which has been described as cloud rap with an upbeat tone. Junshi gained traction after his song Twilight 1995 amassed 250,000 streams. After this, he began to to evolve his sound into the visual-novel-influenced mix of phonk and cloud rap, with a relaxed and emotional sound . This sound has seen extended growth as Junshi, alongside other artists 7Nightz and Sayako keep pushing the style further, with it now having a close-knit fanbase. In 2025 Junshi left elfaction and fell out with Sayako and 7Nightz after being outed for being a pedophile, he groomed a 15 year old girl over discord at the age of 20, after this he started dating a 16 year old girl IRL and is still with her, he is also in the process of moving in with fellow musician oldoceans Read more on Last.fm.
