Kawaski KCentric Nelson carves out a unique niche that fuses hip-hop and electronic music. As a native of Alabama he was raised on AM radio stations, retro tv shows, and his father's extensive R&B and jazz music collection. He has worked with platinum producer Rick Rock, renowned recording engineer Roger Nichols, and was a featured artist on Murat Ses's electronica LP UMAMI. KCentric's music has been played on HBO, Discovery, MTV, IFC, and numerous radio shows and television networks around the world. He is a supporter of the Creative Commons and also a long time contributor at ccMixter. He is currently developing content for television and the internet, collaborating with various DJ's and producers, and licensing his music to production companies and music libraries.
