Born in Prince George’s County, Maryland, now residing in Conyers (an Atlanta suburb) and Los Angeles, KILJ (born Jelani Lofton) had first hopped on the music scene in early 2019 at the age of 14. Making music inspired by artists such as Juice WRLD, Lil Mosey, Halsey, etc. He’s part of the new wave of teen musicians as he is 18 years old as early 2022. Like many others, the young artist made his start on SoundCloud as KILJ and released his debut single Black Hole in late-June followed by 95 with sadtaylor at the beginning of July, which currently has more than half a million streams. He then released a collaboration track featuring Yung Divide called Better Off Alone. With over 1 million streams, it was KILJ’s most popular song until he released No Remedy. Which is sitting at 6 million streams and counting. He’s also been featured on well-respected music platforms such as Lyrical Lemonade, ELEVATOR, Promoting Sounds, Banger Of The Day, and more. He has since released more successful singles such as wish i never met u with Thekidszn, No Remedy Pt.2, and Tracksuits. KILJ currently has an EP in the works as well. Read more on Last.fm.
