There are at least two artists named Kaira. 1. Kaira (also known as Каира) are a female-fronted symphonic heavy metal band from Gomel, Russia. The band was formed by guitarist Paul Drozdov and vocalist Kaira Drozdova in January 2006. and released their first full-length album The Will of Fate in the same year. In 2007 the band were joined by a number of session musicians from Belarus and recorded a music video for the song ‘To the Verge of Everything’ and released their 2nd album “The Wheel of Fortune” . Kaira's third album The Huntress was released in 2008. The band also recorded a soundtrack to the film “To Escape from Destiny” and wrote a song for the renowned Zapashny Brothers circus troupe (“The Legend of the Brothers of Camelot”). Over a period of 3 months the band then recorded their fourth album, “Child of Fire, which was released in 2009. Child of Fire album showcases a new style for Kaira, described by the band as Symphonic-Industrial-Sex-Metal. 2. KAIRA also know as Anca Petianu, is a Romanian singer and songwriter born on 18 July 1990 who currently lives and works in Bucharest, Romania. Kaira discovered her passion for music since her childhood years, always being a person who loves art in general. However, she started to be really successful in this field during her college days. Her friendship with Amalia, the guitarist from Blaxy Girls, helped her to be recognized by a production house that was looking for female voices at that time. Kaira started to gain popularity after collaborating with Delia Matache on the song Pe aripi de vant. The young woman believes that if she had not chosen this path and if she had given up on music because of difficulties, she could have been a successful writer or event organizer.
