Kinior was set up in 2001 as a duo (Włodzimierz Kiniorski: sax, guitar, ney flute, vocal; Dariusz Makaruk: electronic instruments) Their music can be described as mixture of jazz improvisation and electronic sounds inspired by modern music. During concerts, there also appear elements of Asian and European ethnic music performed in modern representation. There are some song oriented elements in the music of Kinior, but all of them are transformed with avant-garde like influences. In 2005, Jorgos Skolias joined the duo. Read more on Last.fm.
