Kinoko Teikoku (きのこ帝国, lit. Mushroom Empire) was a Japanese shoegaze/dream pop band, formed in 2007. The band suspended activities in 2019 when bassist 谷口滋昭 left to support his family business at a temple. With the other members feeling unable to continue without all 4 founding members they put the project on hiatus.
