Kissbone is a Hardcore/Indie band from Cainta, Rizal. Formed in April 2006 by the former members of bands Sons Rival and Wedding In A Funeral, naming their first band Zylvana. The band began their first performances while still attending college and soon began playing shows in Quezon City and Manila. The band name is derived from their guild name - Kissbone, in the RPG game Ragnarok Online. Rising from the punk rock/emo-screamo genre, Kissbone evolved primarily to hardcore/metalcore music. They state Bullet For My Valentine, August Burns Red, A Day To Remember and Trivium as their influences. Kissbone recorded their first demo in 2008 which includes a rock cover of Runaway by The Corrs and two original songs. The demo was not released but was posted on their Purevolume profile. Lineup suddenly changed when Larissa Gesalta joined the band to add violin and feminine vocals for their first EP album - Black, which they independently released in 2009. Later that year, Larissa left the band to be the band's manager. This mid-2010 Kissbone recorded another demo and preparing for the pre-production of another EP album or hopefully, a full-length album. A couple months after the recording the new demo, Allan Luching left the band and was replaced by Parker Cataquian to play the bass. Read more on Last.fm.
