Kitchener was a hardcore punk band from Manchester, England. They released The Price Of Progression EP on Flat Earth Records They also contributed to the following compilations: - Headscrew 125: A Manchester Punk/ Hardcore compilation (with Pig Pile, Stretch & the Amberjacks) - Nothing New compilation with Bob Tilton, Dead Wrong, Kito and Bug Eyed - The Boredom & the Bullshit compilation with One By One, Pig Pile, Marker, Manfat, State of Filth, Headache, Voorhees, Stalingrad and Nerves. The band originated as Stalemate, changed it's line-up and name to Bodybag, changed it's line-up and name to Kitchener. Kitchener may also refer to Trinidadian Calypso artist Lord Kitchener. Former members of Manchester's Kitchener prefer his sartorial elegance and recommend listening to Lord Kitchener whenever possible. Read more on Last.fm.
