There are two artists known as Lateral: 1. The UK artist Lateral, has released 5 albums and several EPs over 16 years of activity - 1992-2008. Lateral masters in concocting a hair raising mix of styles and moods. From cyber punk groove of the 'Early bird EP' (1992), deep and really cool 'Cool EP' (1998), heavy beats of 'Machine' to frozen wasteland of 'Iceland'(2005), Lateral transcends time, space and in any case remains undeniably undefinable. 2. Lateral (a.k.a. bandalateral, L A T E R A L) is a psychedelic hard rock music project led by the Delannoy brothers. The Puerto Rican, independent, alternative band has been active since 2003. With Omar Alayón on drums, Lateral has played over 200 shows in support of their debut release, dem8oz (2005), on tour in Puerto Rico with bands like Secreto de Andrómeda, Psiconautas, Mister Jonson & las Chicharras, Ícaro Azul, Color Sodio, Somvazio, Las Cargas, Homenaje a una Bella Canción, Raza, Tavú, Filacteria, Slimy Nuggetz, un.Real, Ron Calavera, Vic Vega & The Caligaris, El Manjar De Los Dioses, Denario & The Whiskey Band, De’fekt, and others. In Mid 2009, the Delannoy’s began recording a new full-length album at the Blue Door Studio and at The Rockness Monster Studio in Chicago, IL. Read more on Last.fm.
