Leemon was born 1October 1980 in Rangpur where he lived till he obtained his BSS degree and then moved to Dhaka in 2002. Despite his obvious musical giftedness he never received any formal training and the endless repertoire of excellently conceived original songs stand testament to his innate musicality. He is currently honing his compositional and arrangement skills at Ektaar through several projects in which he is the big-man-in-charge! The song BONDHU'R MON that he has presented to listeners on Valentine's Day (14 Feb 06) is showcased in a forthcoming Ektaar compilation titled EKTAARAY AMI+TUMI (celebrating the springtime of life).
