There is more than one band with the name Lex: 1. lex is an up and coming South African Singer-Songwriter who has a touch of genius when it comes to modern indie pop. They’re paving the way for new artists who have a voice with something different to say. lex’s first single ‘strawberry sky’ is now streaming on Spotify and Apple Music. 2. LEX is an emerging Australian, Serbian-born, singer/songwriter that has arrived on the pop scene with the release of her debut single C'est La Vie, which captures a feeling of angst from a girl who has grown up forced to suppress her emotions and afflications, which also incorporates links to her Serbian backgruond throughout the chorus. 3. LEX is a Queens-based MC, also a member of Queens-based group Sinistah Circle and a founding member of the New York Rhyme Exchange. 4. Gothic Rock band from Lithuania formed in 1997. After a month of rehearsals band (then unnamed yet) organized a concert in memory of russian band KINO singer Viktor Coi. Concert was not very advertised, so there were about 30 people auditorium there. After a few months band did a gig at Siauliai Region Youth Centre. There were about 300 people who listenedto the concert. In February 1998 - band did a pair of gigs in their school. After a few changes in band's line-up the band began its new period, some new songs were created and others were remade, what gave them more professional attitude. Band LEX made three gigs in one month in June 1998, one of them was the ending of the schoolyear in their school and the show was watched by 300 people of various age, the art rock band SKYLE from Vilnius participated in the show too. A pseudonym of producer & New York DJ legend Ray 'Pinky' Velazquez. 6. LEX is a Denver based Indie Pop musician. She released her debut single, SINNER in 2018. 7. Lex is a rapper from Thessaloniki, Greece, highly regarded as the most influential hip hop artist of his generation achieving mainstream success through his solo projects. He debuted in 1999 with the group Voreia Asteria, becoming pioneers of rap music in North Greece, and one of the most prominent underground groups in the country. Their albums Xalara (2003) and Xalarotera (2004) are considered classic. As a side project, in 2007, Lex teamed up with fellow Vor. As rapper, Mikros Kleftis, to form Anapoda Kapela; a rap duo that made its impact through classics like O Typas Pou Den Pas. In 2014 Lex saw new heights of success releasing his long-awaited debut solo album Tapinoi kai Pinasmeni. The album painted vivid pictures about urban reality combining Lex's signature slow flow with raw lyrics attracting massive acclaim shortly after its release. In a few months, Lex became a topic of discussion in Greece as each of the album's tracks counts more than a million views on most platforms without mainstream media promotion. His follow-up album 2XXX came out in 2018 continuing his massive success and counting numerous sold-out concerts that reached peak levels in June 2019 when Lex became the first solo hip-hop act to perform in a crowd of more than 10.000 in the country's capital. Recently, with hit singles like Tipota ston Kosmo and Oxi Simera being certified Gold and Platinum, Lex is widely considered as Greece's Number 1 Hip Hop Artist and a crowd favorite 8. LEX is a Japanese rapper. Born in Kanagawa, Japan in 2002, Lex started putting out music at the age of 14, uploading his first album, LEX DAY GAMES 4 in 2019 at the age of 16. From there, he appeared on Red Bull's RAISEN cypher which attracted him significant attention that he retained through live performances and the release of his third project, LiFE. In 2021, he followed that up with his fourth and fifth projects, COSMO WORLD (made in collaboration with fellow rappers Only U and Yung sticky wom) and LOGIC, the latter of which notably included the single Nandemo Icchatte featuring JP the WAVY, a song that went viral and ended up becoming LEX's most successful song to date. In 2023, LEX released his fifth project, GOD, which was also supported by a successful single, Ookanemochi no Anata to Binbou na Watashi.
