Breaking Point
In 2001 & 2002 Mike Koenig & L.J. Gravine started writing songs together. Long time friend and bassist Dave Neabore(Mucky Pup, Dog Eat Dog, All Boro Kings) came on board. The trio began to write and polish their ideas into what would become the LowBuz EP. All that was needed was a singer. After many falied auditions, Mike asked a friend of a friend, Jeff Dixon to try out. Jeff was not interested, but eventually gave in. LowBuz was born. The band took to the studio asap. After many local gigs, and two sold out printings of the LowBuz EP Rob Tarulli was asked to join the band. Mike & L.J. remain the primary writing force, while Dave provides the polish to make the songs shine. Rob adds just the right amount of color to each track to make it more interesting, while Jeff's infectous chorus hooks bring the songs home. LowBuz has an interesting style, while not ground breaking still allows them to have a sound of their own. Read more on Last.fm.
