Vihar után

Madrass is a Hungarian folk-rock band. It was formed in 2007 in Budapest. Current members are: Dorak Angyal (vocals), Lóránt Kövi (vocals), Attila Horváth (guitar), Tamás Hricsovinyi (bass), Gábor Győző (drum), Bence Temesvári (violin, guitar, vocals). It’s not easy to define the musicial style of Madrass. Apart from Folk Rock it can also be labeled as Progressive Rock, and with the versatile usage of violins and having two lead singers its style and sound is very colorful and unique. The members came from different musical backgrounds, but all of them had an interest in folk music, which not only gives a special flavor to the songs they composed together, but also influenced the lyrics and the structure of the songs. Madrass has recorded its first studio album in the spring of 2011. The album, containing 10 tracks, was released shortly after, its Hungarian title Vihar után means after the storm.
