A Winter Sampler II

Makebo is a Russian electronic music producer and DJ whose sound explores the deeper and more atmospheric side of melodic, organic, and progressive house. His productions are built around warm grooves, emotional melodies, organic textures, and hypnotic arrangements, creating music that feels equally suited to a late-night dancefloor, an open-air sunset, or a long journey. With a distinctive approach to melody and atmosphere, Makebo combines carefully layered percussion with spacious synths, delicate vocal elements, and evolving harmonic patterns. His tracks often develop gradually, allowing the mood to unfold rather than relying on conventional peak-time structures. The result is a sound that balances dancefloor energy with a strong sense of emotion and introspection. Makebo has become a recognizable name within the contemporary melodic and organic house scene, with his music finding an audience among DJs and listeners drawn to sophisticated, atmospheric electronic music. Tracks such as “Kora,” “Ultramarine,” and “The India” represent different sides of his musical identity, from organic and tribal-inspired rhythms to deeper progressive landscapes. Beyond his studio work, Makebo is also known for DJ sets that follow a similar philosophy: smooth transitions, gradual progression, rich textures, and a strong focus on creating an immersive atmosphere. His music rarely feels rushed, instead giving melodies and rhythms space to breathe and evolve. Makebo continues to develop his sound across the borders of organic house, melodic house, and progressive music, establishing a style that is warm, cinematic, hypnotic, and deeply connected to the emotional side of electronic music.
