Arpine Martoyan (born January 10, 2007 in Yerevan, Armenia), known professionally as Maléna, is an Armenian singer from Yerevan. On November 5, 2020, Armenia announced its withdrawal from the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 due to martial law and confirmed that before deciding to withdraw from the contest Fox was set to represent the country with the song Why. On November 17, 2021, it was announced that she will be represent Armenia on 2021 contest. Two days later, on November 19, her contest entry Qami Qami was released. On December 13th, EBU( European Broadcasting Union) released the running order for the 19th edition of Junior Eurovision Song Contest,which was hosted in Paris, on December 19th. It was revealed that Maléna was performing Qami Qami in the 9th position. On December 19th, The 19th edition of Junior Eurovision was hosted in Paris, in “La Seine Musicale “. After all the points were added up, Maléna was crowned the winner, with a total of 224 points,getting 115 points from the jury,which landed her on 3rd and winning the televote with 109 points.
