Martröð is an international black metal project, featuring Alex Poole (Krieg, Skáphe), MkM (Aosoth, Antaeus), D.G. (Misþyrming, Naðra), Wrest (Leviathan), H.V Lyngdal (Wormlust), and Thorns (Blut aus Nord). The project was masterminded by Alex Poole in 2014. The name is Icelandic for 'nightmare'.
