Maud Mulder (born November 17, 1981 in Nijmegen, Netherlands) is a Dutch singer who rose to popularity after placing second in Idols Netherlands 2, the Dutch version of Pop Idol, shown by RTL 4. She is also a professional field hockey player. On March 12th 2006 Maud participated in the national Dutch Song Contest finals. However, the jury considered the three songs she performed to be without any potential for the Eurovision, since they were like many of The Netherland's previous (unsuccessful) entries. Apart from that, her vocal performances were weak due to an inflammation of the throat. Maud became third out of three, only just beat by rock-band Behave. Female drum-group Treble won with a large share of the televotes the ticket to Athens. 2. Only guitar, bass and drums, raw noiserock sound. Founded in spring 2009. First CD release in 2010, recorded at their own rehearsal room and mixed by Guido Lucas at Blubox Studio Troisdorf. 3. Rock trio from Calgary, Canada who released a self-titled CD in 1995.
