There are at least two bands known as Meliora 1) Meliora is a progressive rock band from Mexico City, which started under Fabiola Simac’s solo project in in 2016. Presentations in venues such as El Museo Cultural del Chopo, Cosa Nostra, Rock and Road Bar, Multifloro Alicia, Faro de Aragón, at the Ollin Kan Festival 2017, Foro Moctezuma, El Mundano, The Chapel of the Dead, Wild Iron Horse, Concert Success Hall, Audiorama of the Sunken Park, Foro la Puga, Los Arquitos Cultural Center, Aguascalientes, Festival del Sol, Chalcatzingo, Morelos as well as being invited to an association for children with mental problems and incurable diseases, where they were able to transmit to young people the strength of their music. They officially and fully presented their debut album Viaje Holístico at the Mega Prog Festival, on November 3, 2018. Fabiola Simac voice and violin in Meliora who is about to release her album Immersion in mid-2019, is part of important bands of Mexican progressive rock such as Chac Mool and Vía Láctea, has shared the stage with great bands like Decibel, Bardo Thodol, Luz of Riada, Humus etc. In venues such as the Chopo Cultural Museum, the Pendulum bookstore, Multiforo Alicia as well as several states of the Mexican Republic. Fabiola Simac has recorded on albums like The Music of the 7 Chakras by Carlos Alvarado, In Plactu Desidero by Divine Archetype, and Daath by the Milky Way. Uvarigh Alvarado, bassist co-founder of Meliora, is part of Chac Mool and Vía Láctea together with his father Carlos Alvarado, the creator of these projects. He has recorded several recordings with his father and Fabiola Simac in Vía Láctea and La Música de los 7 Chakras. Uvarigh Alvarado is part of the album La Llamada del Chamán, material together with his father Carlos Alvarado and Franco Falsini of the pioneer band of the Italian Psychedelic Progressive Sensation's Fix. 2) Meliora is a melodic hardcore/metalcore band from the Inland Empire in California, formerly known as Braindead.
