Melodrama is an up and coming Artist, whose passion is clearly heard through his Hard lyrics, which are derived from, and mostly inspired by, his cinematic life. As he takes you through the Melodramatic realities of the everyday life. As Charlie Mac said, quite simply, Melo Drama is Dope. After 15 years of writing and recording music, Melo Drama has an impressive portfolio of songs which he has divided into separate projects over time. His current project Blue Magic VOL.1 is a compilation of promotional music which will debut sometime near the end of march 2015. It will be released on Livemixtapes.com, along with other social media sites, available for free downloads. He has recently released an EP in anticipation for the Blue Magic mixtape called Play It Louder, via Soundcloud.com, and is currently working on a few music videos. MBM began as an organization which was founded by Melo Drama and other childhood associates, along with one family member, his cousin. The main purpose of MBM was to generate profit by any means necessary, which they did. Although their activities, mostly criminal, were not limited to drugs. They maintained a constant hustle and through their various ventures, they began to grow and make a name for themselves. Most of the members in MBM were musically inclined, and when they weren't involved in one of their many schemes to make money, they were surely passing around joints as they often did accompanied by a musical composition known to the Hip-Hop culture as a freestyle cypher, in which members would take turns improvising lyrics over improvised beats known as a beatbox. Sadly over time, the harsh realities and consequences associated with criminal life began to surface as these very ambitious, yet very misguided, youths began to grow apart. Eventually the long arm of the law managed to divide these troubled teens, as most of them faced criminal charges at one time or another and received penalties ranging from prison sentences to deportation. Melo Drama continued on with his passion for music and recorded his first solo song with Musical Genius Records. From there he met with Infamous, a local from the neighborhood who had encountered Melo Drama in various freestyle cyphers several times before. They decided to venture into the music industry together and began building a studio, Put me in the game coach!. Only few childhood friends, whom Melo Drama grew up with, remained. Over the years they grew and developed their skills and established their places as a team. Melo Drama, who delved in every aspect of music from production to cover art, decided to focus on writing and recording. While others (Cadenza, JYNX, Dj katfish) chose to compose and produce beats. With hard work and dedication, Melo Drama has managed to prevail and is on his way to super-stardom. With his Debut mixtape Blue Magic VOL.1 released and other upcoming projects like, Contraband and Philosophical on the way, which will be available for streaming/download on all platforms, Melo Drama expects nothing short of an epic impact on the music industry.
